I can remember seeing Dennis on comedy shows in the '80's and thinking this guy is awesome and if I do stand up I want to be like him.
The way he delivers his material, the gestures, the timing, and his facial expressions make him a classic (also those bug-eyes).
Even now, his material can make your worries disappear with continual laughter. Unfortunately he died early. Try him! ENJOY! (Thank you Dennis!!)
